Faroe Islands is a selfgoverning entity, they are a protectorate of denmark, but have thier own government and regulations, denmark does not have power to decide what happens in the faroe islands, just as is the case with greenland… Many different species of whales and dolphins occur in the waters around the Faroe Island. Of therse, a number of small toothed whales ,mainly pilot whales, are taken in the Faroe Islands for their meat and blubber. The characteristically Faroese form of whaling , known in Faroese as Grind,was once common around the North Atlantic. Organised on the local community level and regulated by naional legislation, the Faroese whale drive has over the years successfully adapted to modern standards of resource management and animal welfare. On a group of islands just north of Europe, the traditional bloody whale and dolphin slaughter takes place every year. The Faroe Islands are a part of Denmark, where whaling is banned, but they have laws that are independent of Denmark's laws, so they are allowed to continue with this mass execution. Year after year, thousands of pilot whales, beaked whales and dolphins are chased into the bay by boats, where they are slaughtered. According to the informations we get, we knew that , this slaughtering has been law for hundred years . Yet, we knew that, whale is an extinction animal , They are precious and value-able! They must be protected by us, human being. But, this tragedy definitely broken the balance of the world. The innocent whale has do nothing harm to human ! They are living in the space they supposed to be and somebodies just rob their house and killed them with brutal ways! How could it be!? We are rules by government! We have faith and obey the bible ! I wonder, how can this tragedy can be happen? I can't use words to express my hate! I am angry ,I am sad, I am hoping, someday , people will stop this kind of numb ceremony and leading the world to peace. You are the shame of human !
